23rd Nov 2019: Everyone was keen to bring the marathon to an end and hopefully improve their standings on the final races. A light North Easterly with sunny, blue sky, set the stage in Bass Harbour and the fleet was divided into point to point races, around the harbour and windward/leeward courses for the racing classes, to seaward of Kua town. Everything was going smoothly until the second lap, when the NE breeze started to fade away and move around to the East. Some yachts got caught offside and came to a spluttering stop, while others took advantage of the situation. At the end of the race, the leaders in each class managed to cling onto their lead. As the course had to be relayed, the long wait started, to see if there was going to be another deciding race. As time ticked by, with no improvement in sight, eventually, no more racing today was announced and the final results stand. Check out the AY Photo Gallery
