NTSB set to vote on findings on deadly dive boat fire

The National Transportation Safety Board is set to conduct a virtual meeting tomorrow (Oct. 20), to consider the agency’s investigation of the fatal, September 2, 2019, fire aboard the dive boat Conception in which 43 lives were lost. The five-member board will vote on the findings, probable cause and recommendations as well as any changes to the draft final report. Full Article

Seahouses have a new Lifeboat at last, she sailed into Seahouses at 13:36hr this afternoon, Sunday 18 Oct 2020. We were directed to have something of a news blackout, to avoid attracting crowds who could have breached Covid 19 regulations. Sad, as many would have liked to see the spectacle.
